promarker tutorial part 1.

good evening all, not long back from alton towers.we had a fab time and with living 5 mins away we get home quick.lol.unfortunately little man was about 2cms too short for the new ride 13 so hopefully next year.so tonight no card but instead a promarker tutorial to share with you, if you want to.lol.i have had this ready for a few days but have been awaiting permission from whiff of joy as i am using a whiff of joy stamp.thankyou katharina for your kind permission to let me share this with my followers.so the fab stamp is a whiff of joy and is called feel better in the morning, you can find it here.

so first off i have stamped my image onto rymans 200gsm smooth bright white coated card with momento ink.

then i colour his hands and face all over with IVORY.

then nearly all over with BLUSH.

then add some DUSKY PINK.

then a little SOFT PEACH.

for the cheeks PASTEL PINK, it won`t look this strong in a minute.

take your IVORY and go all over in small circular movements to blend the colours together so there is no obvious lines, you may need to do this a couple of times.

now for the hair.1st use COCOA all over.

next use CHESTNUT, nearly all over again leaving some cocoa showing where you want the light to be.

then i use WALNUT nearly all over the chestnut, you don`t need to be to precise.

then i use SHALE all round the edge and the ends of the hair and under the hat where the shade and darkest hair would be.

take you COCOA again and then as with the skin use small circular movements all over until you have blended to your liking.

now for the chair and table.i have used the same colours for both.
first i used SANDSTONE all over.

then i use CARAMEL nearly all over.

then COCOA where the shadows and darker areas would be.

then a little CHESTNUT where the very darkest shade would be.

then take your SANDSTONE and again using small circular movements go over the entire area as many time as you need until you are happy with the blending.
well thats it for part 1.
i hope you have found it of some help, i know there are probably loads of other people who are far, far better at colouring than me, lol but i thought it would be nice to share with you how i do mine.lol.

good evening all, have rather a packed day today but have managed to squeeze this card in.we have been to visit my mil today and then out for some lunch, i had lasagne and garlic bread with salad, yum and then back to see my mum and stepdad who have been away for a week.we are off to alton towers tomorrow so there may be no post from me tomorrow night.lol.tonights card i have made for 2 challenges.
1)totally gorjuss = challenge 32 = wings
2)passion for promarkers = week 53 = anything goes (my 3rd entry)

products used are silver mirror card, free papers from mag.all papers distressed with the tim holtz paper distresser and inked with distress ink dusty concord and then stardust stickles.flowers from my local craft shop which have also been inked.hero arts sentiment.lotv image coloured with promarkers and i even used my blender on her wings.have found you can pick the colour up on the thin tip of your blender from the chisel end of your chosen colour and you get a lovely subtle effect.glamour dust and faux pearls.blue shimmer chalk.

SKIN=ivory,blush,dusky pink.
HAIR=vanilla,sandstone,caramel.
FLOWERS,DRESS AND WINGS=pink carnation,fushia pink,purple,amethyst, blender.
LEAVES=leaf green,bright green,forest green.

good evening all, i hope you are all well.whats happened to the weather today, oh well no fighting with the hose pipe to water the garden i suppose.well as the title says i have been playing with my distress inks again and have the most inky fingers, good job i`m not at work for 2 days now.lol.

so card no1.
products used are orange,black and white card.faux stitching.all night media sentiment and tree stamp which i have stamped twice.punched circle used to create the moon/sun.distress inks used are mustard seed,dried marigold,rusty hinge,worn lipstick.image and sentiment stamped with archival ink in jet black.white gel pen.simples.

good afternoon all, i hope you are all well. its a really gorgeous sunny day here again so have managed to wash and dry all the laundry today.todays card i have really enjoyed making and i am entering this one into 3 challenges.
1)crafts and me challenges=challenge 5= distressed.
2)creative card crew=challenge 51 = colours pink and green.
3)passion for promarkers=challenge 53=anything goes (my 2nd entry)

products used are pink and green coredinations card.papermania rose garden papers.piece of white card which i have doodled on to create the background and coloured lightly with chalks.tim holtz distress tool used on all papers and card and rock candy distress paint.applied to the edges.the doodled background has been covered all over with the rock candy.prima flowers,pink and green raffia, pins.wild rose studio sentiment.hand drawn swirls with white gel pen and i added adhesive pearls.whiff of joy city girl coloured with promarkers.

HAIR=cinnamon,cocoa,chestnut,walnut,shale.
DRESS & BOOTS=meadow green,apple,leaf green,forest green.

good evening all.managed to find the old mojo tonight.my card tonight is for 2 challenges.

oooooo and have you noticed i have really excelled myself tonight and made a different style card shape, i think this is called a kickstand.don`t look too close though cos as usual my matting and layering is a little wonky, lol :)

good evening lovely fellow bloggers.i hope you have all had a fab day.tonights card i have made for this weeks passion for promarkers challenge=week 53=anything goes.the fab ladies are celebrating one year of their fab blog this week and wow the prizes you could win are simply out of this world.go on and have a go, you`ve got to be in it to win it.
i have made another of my doodled cards tonight, i have doodled the main background behind the images and used promarkers and chalk to colour it then a good coat of the distress paint rock candy.

products used are papermania paper and blue card.all edges distressed and painted with distress paint in rock candy, some pieces sprinkled with glamour dust whilst still wet.hand doodled background.personal impressions sentiment.papermania ready cut stars coloured with promarkers and buttons and raffia added to the centres.manga girl and boy coloured with promarkers.

good evening all, i hope you`ve all had a wonderful day in the sunshine.tonights card i have made for this fortnights whiff of joy challenge #79 which is a colour combo of brown and yellow and one of your own choice, i chose orange.after enjoying making the card with the little nurse and doctor on last week i`ve done the same again with these 2 faboulous lovelies from the city girls range.i just love the look in his eyes, he is so besotted.lol.
