I bet you're glad you didn't have to have all that work done at the dentist. Fancy the locum saying that. Your hospital app. should be OK, don't they put you to sleep?

Hi Coops - well, sort of good news for you, but there is that hospital job, not so good. Bet your dentist will think twice about getting that locum in again if he can be so wide of the track!! I have to say I was "pleasantly" surprised when I saw my dentist recently and found that, apart from the root canal job, my teeth are fine and I take good care of them - what can I say, it's borne out of necessity - me and dentists are strangers, it had been about 10 years since my last visit!!! Enjoy your afternoon crafting with the wee one doing his thing beside you. Elizabeth x

Amazing how you can get told so many different things by different dentists eh? Glad you still have your tooth and that you can eat normally :)

Enjoy your reprieve! :D

I'm sorry to hear that your teeth are still giving problems.I had this sort of problem two years ago when a new dentist broke a wisdom tooth and left it exposed for 3 weeks before i got a hospital appointment. It was agony and I was dreading going in to have it worked at again. The good news is that I was sedated, the tooth removed, gum stitched and I was soon on the mend. Hope you get an appointment asap! Glad your tooth is getting sorted and your not in too much pain, hopefully you wont have to wait too long. The hospital should be a doddle if they give you IV Sedation, you won't even know you were there I have to have it even for a simple filling as i'm too nervous. Funny you should say that about your fillings though it's happened to me, my normal dentist said I needed 4 and then the hospital dentist said i only needed 2, think it's a ploy to get money lol. Enjoy your afternoon!
