Chaos with coffee - gold blend i believe :D

Good morning all.
I hope you are all well.
Mmmm todays card is a bit of a disaster, all was well until I had an idea with coffee............and printer ink doesn`t like coffee, it turns the black lines green, mmmm.
So here is my coffee chaos card which I am entering into the following challenges:
1.Crafts 4 Eternity - R129 - Spots and Stripes
2.Allsorts Challenge - Week 212- Outside the box (black coffee, shells, plasterer`s scrim)
3.A Gem Of A Challenge - Challenge 85 - Male birthday with a sentiment
4.Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge - Challenge 162 - Catherines sketch

You ready for it.....right use your imagination. The green tinge is algae.....ok?

Products used are:
Brown card
Gorjuss girls papers - neutrals
Plasterers scrim
Seashells nabbed from the bathroom
Black coffee mixture
Distress tool
Woodware sentiment
Delicious doodles digi - in the harbour

So the card looked ok until I had the brainwave of painting over my coloured image with the black coffee to give it an aged look and that's where the probs started. My printer ink went green so I then had to redefine the lines a little with a fineliner.
And theres my coffee chaos!!

And a sideways view and  thank your lucky stars I have not given you a closer look of the image.
Thanks so much for popping by, it means a lot :
Hugs Nic.xx

Hi Nic

Love the card, great printer to add the green tint, see you might not have thought of that, so it did it for you.
Brilliant layout and love the shells.

Hey, Nic! I quite like the Gold Blend look! ;-) Definitely gives the image an aged look, which is what you were going for, so I wouldn't worry too much and it's always fun to experiment! Some of the best results come from happy accidents! Hugs, Lisa x

OH WOW Nic... coffee or no coffee.... this is such a fabulous male card.. and I think the green tinge adds to it rather than detracts!! You have such a wonderful imagination to even try this!

I've been away again for a few days and have decided against trying to catch up with commenting on the cards posted while I was away this time... I'd be here all day if I did that as it took me ages last time!! So apologies, but I'm back now!! LOL

Hugs
