Greenery and Flowers.

Good morning all.
I hope you are all well.
Happy Bank Holiday Monday to all of you in the UK today.
I am in work today as its the day we have to put our order through.
I was a busy little bee yesterday.Washing and drying was one job, a wedding card made for an order too which i will share once the special day has gone as i don`t want to risk the recipient seeing it as i know some local Cheadle people read my blog.
So instead today i have a few pics of another passion of mine, my garden.Despite have a severe allergy to cut grass, i do enjoy my plants and flowers.
Once hubby has cut the lawn i am good to do the rest.
I took these pics last week when the weather was lovely.Since then i have had a gorgeous climbing hydrangea which i have yet to plant out.I may move my wisteria and put it there so it grows up the fence.
So here are a few pics.

This is a flower that appeared i presume from a bird dropping a seed?, it seems to get bigger each year.

You can see the new fencing on this pic.In the middle you can see the new wisteria i have planted, it a compact variety and in front of that is another new plant, a pink poppy.

Down the side,  lot of new plants in here as the builders killed off all the ones i planted last year when they dumped loads of clay and soil over them.

Some of my new perenials, a large red poppy, the orange ,blue and pink are all new with little ground spreading plants in between them.

The plant at the front left i am unsure of, i thought it was a weed and i have pulled it out every year but my stepdad  says it is a plant so i have left it in and its spreading like nobodys business.it has yellow flowers once they come out. There is also 2 new buddlias at the bottom in front of the new wall.Hopefully in a couple of year these will be big enough to give me a bit more privacy.

My beautiful clematis, lots of people stop and admire this.

A close up of one of my new plants.

And another close up, this really is as blue as it looks, so striking.

My pink peony up the corner, its just about to flower and in the opposite corner is a red peony.

The view from the back door, my lawn is in terrible condition after its first cut so i have sprinkled some treatment over it, fingers crossed.

And another view, with that awful monstrosity staring me in the face. The builders have been nowhere near IT since october last year, the view over the fence is building materials, not a pretty site :(
I can`t wait for everything to be flowering, i just need to redo my pots now and then its good to go.

Thanks so much for looking and i hope you all have a fabulous day.
Lotsa Hugs
Nic.

A beautiful garden Coops, Love the variety of plants. The first one near the wall is a favourite of mine in our garden (Cornflower) its an original Scottish variety and attracts the bees in the summer...they love it!
Love your poppy's too :o)) they soon thicken ..... and spread! but give a fab show.
Enjoy your flowers, they will soon be in full bloom.
hugs Mau xx

Can't help feeling envious, Nic - your garden looks so lovely and you've got sunshine, too! My mower has packed up so my lawn looks like a jungle, plus we've got moles, plus the rabbits and deer eat all my plants!!! Why can't they eat my overgrown grass? Hugs, Tracey xx

The garden's looking great, Nic and I'm sure will help to detract from the 'awful monstrosity'!! I too have one of those blue spidery flower plants (that's the Latin name, you know!?!) and the orange geum is very popular at Chelsea this year, so you're on trend too!
I'm trying to tackle my jungle of a garden (between the downpours) and am quite satisfied at the progress I can see! Will have to post some pics! Have a great week! Hugs, Lisa x
