man of the match.

well a very early good morning from me :)
i have been woken by the alarm of snoring, grrrr.also i had this card ready to show you last night but my blinking internet was playing up.i tryed for 3 hours but i just could not get the thing to connect up to the internet.my wireless modem was working,my linked up light was on and the little icon on my laptop was telling me i was connected,good strength, blah, blah so i assume my internet provider was the one who had the problem so without further ado at last heres my card and i am entering it into the following challenge:
1.friday sketchers=sketch 110

products used are beige card.tim holtz distress tool.distress ink antique linen.basic grey kraft and manilla papers.flowers soft stamp,man of the match stamped in cocoa memento and coloured with promarkers.sentiment and little footballs also from the stamp set.
promarkers used are
skin=blush,dusky pink,sunkissed pink,coral.
hair=caramel,cocoa,walnut. cool grey 3,4,5,black.
clothes=almond,putty,tan,blush,vanilla,mustard, cinnamon,cocoa,walnut,shale.

and a sideways view.

Hi Coops

I too share my bedroom with a "snoring alarm clock" LOL!! Can't complain though because apparently I am guilty of such annoying behaviour too .. .. not that I believe that for one minute!!

Love your card - brilliant image so well shaded. Great colour choices and wonderful distressing too.

Adorable card Nic. Love the colours you used and I LOVE this stamp!I too had internet probs last night. Same as you it said I was connected but couldn't get any websites. You're not with Talk Talk or maybe Tiscali are you(i think they are the same company now)?... xx Jenny xx

hi nic ... what a really super card you have made ... love the colours and the papers you have used and the stamp, my grandson would love it ... it is so cute and would not have been nearly so good if they were facing you if you know what I mean ... I have just uploaded a photo of my grandchildren in the woods it is a photo of them walking away the same as your stamp and I love it to bits ...

Oh Nic buy earplugs lol.I know what you mean about wireless modems.Mine was like that for ages last month,had to get Son to sort it out for me ggrrr.Anyhoo,your card is gorgeous the image is so lovely.Your colour combo is so good too.

Hi Coops I truly adore this card its beautiful. The papers are lovely & soft so it doesn't take the emphasis off your image & your fabulous colouring. Honest I think this is brill & I've just been on Ebay & brought mesel 1 of those distress tools he he he. Its no wonder us crafters have never got any dosh lol. What a shame you missed the other challenge they wud of loved this. I have to roll my snoring clock over onto his side....I always tell him its for the best.......well he lives then til the morning lol. Take care hunni

Love it coops. The way you've coloured it and the colours you've chosen reminds me of an old sepia photo.great layout too. Why don't these snoring men wake themselves up? lol. Di.x
