Meddling with mediums.

Good morning all.
I hope you are all well.
I had a very lazy day yesterday, probably too lazy but i am in work early this morning for our delivery.
So on to my card for today using a different colouring medium for a change.
I have used pencils, i just blended the pencils as they are but i may get some paper stumps and some of that liquid stuff  :S to see how they work that way.
Here is my card, which i am entering into the following challenges:
1.Southern Girls Challenge - Sparkle and shine with a bit of bling
2.Sweet Stampin Challenge - Sparkle and shine
4.Scribble and Scrap Challenge - Challenge 14 - Anything goes
5.One Stitch At A Time Challenge - Challenge 214 - Anything goes
6.Sentimental Sundays Challenge - Challenge 208 - Things with wings
7.Everybody Art Challenge - Challenge 280 - Bling.bling

Products used are:
White card
Crochet Lace
Freebie papers - Nitwit
Gems and gem medallion
Stickles stardust
Distress tool
Bugaboo image - Flower bird
Woodware sentiment

I did not note down the pencil colours as i was just having a quick play.
For a bit of fun, can you guess which pencils i have used?

And a sideways view.
I think i may need different card too for these pencils.
I have bristol board so i am going to try them on that.

And this is another quick one i tryed, i forgot to brush off the bits though.
What do you think?
Thanks so much for looking, it means a lot ;D
Hugs Nic.

I'm not going to attempt to catch up on the cards I've missed while I've been away... apologies... but I'd be here until next week trying to do it for all the lovely ladies I follow.

Very interesting as you hVe managed such vibrant colours whereas most pencil colouring looks flat and pale to me. You have done a great job. Fun card and love the bottom image colours

Cracking job on both Nic! love that sweet bird, so cheeky and cheery. As for the pencils, I was forced, by circumstance, to learn with them - loved the look but hated my results with them at first but starting to love them now I am learning how they behave, and now I've had loads of practice with them. I don't think you need any blender hun, but if you go for it, I would recommend Zest-It. Hugs xx

They are stunning :), would they happen to be the new spectrum noir pencils by any chance. I am still trying to get used to mine and haven't achieved results like that yet. Wonderful work as always. Looked forward to seeing what you bring us each day

Great meddling nic lol - the card looks really good and the colours are wonderful. I like how you have coloured the day for daisies image but not too sure on the shading on the outside, but the image itself is spot on gorgeous colouring. Michelle x

You were having lots of fun - I can tell and I love what you did. Wish I had more time and I would whip out my spectrum pencils and guess the colors. I also find a different paper works very nicely with these pencils - not your copic blending paper and that liquid stuff - I just ordered it to help with the blending. Will let you know how it works. But you did a beautiful job in detail shading on your little bird! Hugs
