first attempt at kraft

Good evening all.i hope you are all well.i have just eaten chip and gravy from the chippy, ooooooooooo so yummy :D
so on to my card, now no laughing cos this is my first ever attempt at colouriing on to kraft card and i actually cut one of kraft card blanks up to colour on to.
i am entering my card into the following challenges:
1.cupcake craft challenge - challenge 170 - colouring on kraft
2.sketch saturday - week 183 - fantastic sketch ladies
3.paper sundaes challenge - challenge 97 - winter wonderland
4.simon says stamp challenge - anything goes
5.my mums craft shop challenge - challenge 34 - keeping warm

products used are:
kraft card blank and another to colour and use for matting
echo park paper - thanks mina
white acrylic paint
nestie snowflakes - thanks christine
memory box die - wrought iron fence
papermania sentiment
gorjuss girl stamp - toadstools
promarkers and flexmarkers
white gel pen
pearls from stash


 
promarkers and flexmarkers used are:
blush,sunkissed pink,coral,cinnamon
cool grey 2,3,4,5
red,berry,ruby,burgandy.warm grey 5
pear,forest,pine
cloud blue,celestial.cadet

and a sideways view.

  27. Hi ya, well I would never have realised, if you hadn't said, this is your first attempt of colouring on Kraft - it's perfect (as always). Gorjuss little stamp and lovely colours. I really, really must try this soon - have seen so many lovely cards using this technique - saw on someones blog that they coloured on the back of wrapping paper inner tubes - might give that a go.

    WOW,your colouring on kraft is gorgeous,i've been wanting to try this for ages but not been brave enough :) (that card base looks alot like the card blanks i have did you get them from hobbycraft by any chance?)

  33. Aww Coops my old Mum adored chips and gravy from the chippy - she regarded it as such a treat - so your post made me smile as I remembered her face when we used to bring it in - OH used to tell her it was chinese (which she hated!!).
    Glad you got a bit of KRAFTIN done! Gorgeous job - your colouring always amazes me - sleep tight. x

  41. Oh, Coops, this is just gorgeous!! :) Can't believe it's your first attempt with kraft, it looks amazing... I've tried a few times with Prismas and PMs (on my cut up card blanks, too!!lol) but not got such good results as you already have... assumed it would be impossible to do skin with pens, too... shall have to have a play!! :)

  68. Aww this is gorgeous Coops! I love the Gorjuss image and colouring is perfection - love that background with the snow! It looks great on the Kraft Card!!! The paper and white paint on edges looks fab and ribbon and snowflakes are delish - stunning card!
