blooming trunks

Good morning all.
well i had to hotfoot it to the sports shop this morning and buy little man a new pair of trunks.the pair that are lost are a brief style and are speedos but could i remember the size.
i couldn`t get the same ones this time. these aren`t as good a make and are a short style trunk.i just hope they fit him now, i don`t want them falling off him once he hits the pool
right am going to try and catch up with as many of you as i can before its time to go back to work.

** update**

well i`ve searched high amd i`ve searched low and i have literally had the whole house upside down but i can not find little mans trunks anywhere.

they seem to have dissapeared into thin air.

luckily his swimming lesson isn`t till last session at school so i am going to have to hot foot it to the sports shop in the morning and hope they have another pair so i can drop his swim bag off at the school.

had a a letter about my teeth

morning all.i have recieved a letter this morning about my oral surgery -eeeeeek.
they wanted to transfer me to macclesfield hospital(as the waiting list is quite long) for the surgery but i said i would rather wait and stay with the north staffs hospital as i liked the surgeon i saw.they have told me my surgery is likely to be in  december.oops
i did ask if i would be able to work after as i work in retail and i am having teeth taken from both sides of my mouth and i won`t be much use at work if i can`t talk to customers will i ;D
it all depends how the surgery goes so i`ll have to wait and see.
got to wait for the appointment letter now.
i am still behind in commenting but will catch up eventually.going to pop up town now and little man is going to an halloween party later.

oooooo very happy

hello all.i hope you are all well.me and little man have been super lazy today.we were in our p,j`s all morning but we have manged to drag ourselves up town.we had a cone of chips each, went and saw my mum and had a cuppa with her, then we went the newsagents.now i don`t normally buy craft mags anymore unless the free gift is something i really want.
well this one mag complete cardmaking with your pc just jumped off the shelf and walloped me round the chops, why cos it has a free cd rom with 70!!!! pollycraft images and sentiments on(plus nitwit papers,funky hand and lots more).well worth the money just for those alone.so i`ve just sat and printed off images for hubbies birthday cards and an image to make a treat bag/box for halloween.so now i`m going to try and create something whilst watching the daily cheesey film on channel 5 :D
oh and about my broken tooth.i phoned the dentist on monday but because it doesn`t hurt i can`t get in until next thursday unless it starts hurting.

mr severn trent ......... i think you rock ;D

yes indeedy i do.he was a strapping 6ft something and he has sorted out my drain.he came and popped up the big drain cover and the main sewer was blocked.thats their responsibilty so he unblocks it but oh dear my bath water drain is still not budging, oops.this is when he says from your bathroom drain to this main drain here (about 3 metres) is your responsibilty.oh pooo i say so sweetly.
he says i tell you what darling seeming as its  you i will quickly put the jet in the drain for you and see what happens.
oohhhhhhhhhhhhh poooooooooooooooooo indeeed.absolutely never want to see what i saw ever again but mr severn trents jet worked and it seems that the other 3 houses sewer pipes connect to my bathroom drain so i hadn`t blocked the blooming thing anyway.
then mr nice man jetwashed my path and drain cover for me and he did it all for nothing even though he shouldn`t of.
so seeming as i now to need to go to school for parents evening then its takeout for tea :D

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr its now half 2 and i am still waiting.the water people phoned me back at half 9 this morning to say i was on their log and that the engineers would phone me when they were ready to visit and i am still waiting.got to pick little man up from school soon and then its his parents evening.my app with the teacher is 20 past four so i`ve had to draft in emergency backup, my little bro to come down and housesit.hes also gonna take little man to get his hair cut as its school photo`s tomorrow.
oh i am so impatient.lol

hello all.i hope you are all well.for the 2nd time this week i have nothing to share.my image is coloured and papers picked but it is too wet to assemble tonight so i will hopefully post it late tomorrow morning now.
instead i`m going to have a good mooch around your blogs :D
oh and to my drain problem.i am going to ring the water company in the morning as we are unsure if we are liable to pay for the unblocking or not as its a shared drainage system.
when the 3rd house up called them out last year for the same problem he was told because our houses are over 200 years old it was the water boards responsibility so fingers crossed.

oh so smelly.

a very wet good morning to you all.
i am sorry but i am way behind in commenting.i would normally have caught up with you all this morning but i have a drain problem.i live in an end terrace and the other 3 houses in the row drainage and sewerage all comes via by house and i noticed over the last couple of days that my bath water wasn`t draining in the outside drain properly but overflowing all over the path,my house has the drain cover on my path where all the properties pipes come out and then in to the mains.so this morning i have been out in the rain and hail with the drain cover off trying to see where the block is and it seems to be the main pipe that all the others drain into.grrrrrrrrr.i won`t tell you the horrors i have seen  but suffice to say i ain`t had no brekkie.
so i will try and catch up with you all tonight now and tomorrow on my day off.
right better go to work now.
