sun shiny happiness.

good evening all.well another beautiful day and a nice breeze too.i finished work at 2, went pick my little man up from my mum and had a cuppa and a chat.got home and sat in the garden and finished my no6 true blood book and started to read a james patterson one.lol.anyway enough of my day, am sure you want to see a card instead.so i am entering this one into 2 challenges.
1.passion for promarkers=week 57=theme="your favourite things" (mine is reading)
2.sketch saturday=week 109

products used are blue card.dcwv citrus paper.old book pages.tim holtz tattered floral die.distress ink dried marigold and rusty hinge.pearl brad.ribbon from stash.ms doily edge punch.papermania gems.whiff of joy image and sentiment from the summer kit.promarkers.

promarkers used are
skin=blush,dusky pink,sunkissed pink,coral.
hair=buttercup,vanilla,sandstone,caramel.
dress=pastel green,mint green,soft green,petrol blue.
top & shoes=ivory,buttercup,vanilla.
book=cool grey 1 &2,gold,pumpkin,spice,burnt orange.

Awh man it's stunning!! I love the effects, I've currently been using book pages and glimmer mists to make great flowers for a flower swap, never thought to use the pages themselves. :-)

OK now I'm officially jealous of how many FAB cards you have made......they are all SO GREAT. This 1 I love as well, your colouring is perfect as usual & I love the colours..they are so warm with a lovely cool background...its like sitting in the sun with a nice soft breeze to keep you cool....I think this anyway lol. Amazing card Nic! I love how you've incorporated the book pages with the image, the distressing is amazing! Your image has been superbly coloured too.

I love reading too, especially when I'm on holiday. I don't get as much time as I used to but have just finished The Time Travelers Wife which was amazing!
