i hope you are all well, its been as dull as dishwater here again today but never mind.have been sitting with little man and getting his homework finished ready for school tomorrow.he was not happy about it, he`d rather be playing in his bedroom.
some people have asked me where i got my daylight lamp from.i got it from argos, it was £29.99 and the item number is 267/1231. i must say i use it all the time now and hope the bulbs last a while cos its a circular shape and i have no idea where to get a spare.
so on to tonights card and i`ve used the same papers again, sorry :D
i wanted to use my scraps up though, so i am entering this card in to the following challenges:
1.simon says stamp challenge - fathers day / for a male (2nd entry)
2.the fuzzy wuzzy challenge - challenge 10 - recipe - papers.2 buttons,colour blue.
plain card coloured with promarker for matting.
first editon papers - up,up and away.
buttons and twine from stash.
fizzy moon stamp - little messages.
promarkers.
satin,sandstone,caramel.cocoa,cinnamon,walnut,shale.
satin, pastel beige, khaki,
pear, moss.
pastel beige,powder blue,denim blue.
blender.
background - satin,pastel beige, khaki.
pastel blue,powder blue,denim.
for the dotty background.colour all over first with the lightest shade i used pastel blue and satin and then using your other 2 shades of darker colours use the fine tip of you promarker to apply small dots following the outline of your image.
i then go back over with the lightest shade again to tone it down a bit and you can also use your blender all over. hth :D

It's 9 pm where you are? (or at least when you posted this) It's almost 4 pm here now (in Canada). And I'm just getting supper ready. Still makes me dizzy thinking of all the time zones out there.....but hey, it's always 12:00 somewhere, let's have a drink! lol

This is amazing nic, love how you've done the fab backgound and great LO. I have seen the round bulbs at Hobbycraft to fit my light, they may stock them to fit yours too.

Loving your colouring on this, especially the 'dappled' effect background, it looks brilliant.
Great layout and fab papers (I approve of using up scraps!)
I love these images btw, but I think I need to buy a different coloured stamping ink, a little softer like yours looks better, instead of harsh black. I had a devil of a job trying to shade mine this weekend for my DT card on weds.
