for now!!
hello all.i went to see the maxillofacial surgeon today to discuss what they are going to do to my 2 teeth.
one is a upper left molar and a bottom right wisdom.they are hoping to do them by just injecting me and both at the same time, eeeek.
the molar is broken off so its the root that has to come out and the wisdom is also under the gum, so they have got to cut my gum open for both teeth and i will have to have some bone removed to get to the wisdom tooth.
i think i must of gone really pale as the nurse assured me i would be ok,lol.
i think when my appointment comes through i will have to be dragged in.
also if the injections don`t numb me i will have to have be put to sleep to do them.i will then have dissolving stitches and have been warned that i may get temporary numbess of the right side of my tongue and chin because the wisdom is close to the facial nerve.
aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh now i am hoping the appointment comes quick so i don`t have too much time to dwell on it and i am so gonna make my hubby look after me once its done. :D
right better go and try whip up a little something to share with you all.
catch ya laters, hopefully try to be a bit earlier too
luv coops xx

I'm sure it will all be OK Coops, not a nice thing to think about I know but it will soon be done and you'll be on the mend, sending hugs. Jacee
Oooo Nic, you'll be fine Hun! As Jacee said it'll soon be done and then you'll be on the mend. Sending you cyber hugs. Lotsa luv, hugs xxxx
Coops, I hate the dentist and have had similar things done. I generally have about three jabs to make sure I am completely numb, it takes most of the day to wear off! ;) Anyway, he point is, I am sure things will be fine. xxx
I totally know how your feeling, I have to have IV Sedation for a simple filling. I've only ever grown 2 wisdom teeth and one has been pulled as it was growing the wrong way under GA, it seemed really quick I was just grumpy because I didn't want to wake up and my face was black and blue for a wee while and really swollen but the inside of my mouth healed really quickly. Good luck it will be over before you know it x .
Oh Nic, you poor thing ! As long as they numb it well you shoul'nt have anything to worry about !
Bless your heart it will soon be over...
love and hugs

Well done on keeping your appointment and not passing out or being sick! You will be fine I'm sure and yep make sure your men wait on you hand and foot afterwards xxx
It will be fine Coops...I hate the dentist too, but I had a tooth removed and the roots had wrapped around the jaw bone...and I never felt a thing, they had to remove bone and whatnot, but honest it was fine.Just make sure they give you plenty of numb stuff, just go..ooo..ooo..and they pump in more...awesome.
Luv CHRISSYxx
Good luck Nic and I hope the appointment comes through quickly for you...hugs :) Donna ♥ x
Oh not pleasant but they know what there doing so your in safe hands keep smiling:) Sandra H
Hi Nic, well that sounds like fun - not! I'm sure it will be fine and the thinking about it will be worse than the actual procedure, you really have my sympathies. I wonder have I said before I have a proper phobia about Dentists - I shake and shiver just going in for a normal check up. I'm sure they've thought I was going to faint more than once! So know what you are going through - best of luck and am sure it will be fine. Sarah
I am sure you will be ok but glad when it is over x Susan x
I'm sure you are making a fuss about nothing lol... but all the same, better you that ME lol

I had 3 horizontally impacted wisdom teeth removed many many years ago in hospital. I looked like a chipmunk after the op but once the stitches dissolved I was fine. Medicine has also moved on a lot since then so I'm sure you will be in good hands. Hope it gets fixed soon. Hugs Marianne x
Hi Coops, Thanks for stopping by and your good wishes, I will try and catch up for a while before my back starts again. I hope your app. comes real soon sweetie and that you don't have too long to think about it. You will be fine I am sure, but understand how you must be feeling. Sending you huge hugs and lots of love xxxxx Mau
off to see your latest creations xx
Oh bless you hun, you have my full sympathy as i don't like going to the dentist, whilst there i try to think of something nice, well if you didn't while you were there, you can now, as i saw you and rightly so too, had won this weeks LOTV, i look forward to seeing what you buy with it, Luv Sam x
I think the thought of it is always far worse than the treatment itself - you'll be in safe hands. Jxx
Hi Nic, not nice to think about but I'm sure they'll take good care of you and you won't feel a thing. Enjoy all the pampering afterwards, lol! xxx
Oh Coops, I really feel for you. I'm a complete phobic and have a broken tooth at the back. I wish it would really give me hell so I have to go and get it out.I had one out before and had a general. It was fab as I knew nothing about it but they don't do this now without having to go to a dental hospital. The worst bit is the waiting, I agree. Big hugs. Di.xx
Hi Nic...try to keep busy! I had similar work done 2 years ago and although it wasn't fun, thinking about it was worse than the actual procedure. All the best! Ruth x
senidng big hug x
Hi Nic,You are good hands,I am sure it will all go great.Best of luck for it.

Sounds painful and nasty :( but you are right, dwelling on it wont make it go away, so I hope you manage to forget about waiting for an appt :)
