and i`m back home.appointments were running late so i didn`t go through till 11.30am and was back out at 12.oh my word, i will never be on edge again.the man who removed my wisdom tooth and broken tooth was fantastic.the longest time was spent waiting for the injections to numb me.i was told i would feel pressure when he did the wisdom tooth but i felt nothing.i lay there thinking, i`m sure hes stitching and he was.i couldn`t believe it.i came out and actually said to my hubby, wow that was good..lol
am still very numb and my mouth is starting to hurt so i am waiting for my cup of tea to go warm and then can pop a couple of tabs.
worst thing for me is i can`t have a fag for 48 hours.
think hubby is going to be tiptoeing around me until then.lol.:D

right better have a barely warm cuppa and some painkillers.

Well done Coops. I have a terrible phobia of dentists and have to have gas before I have anything done so I have been sympathising with you....
So glad you are ok Nic and it's all over.I didn't feel my tooth getting taken ouy yesterday,the 3 needles hurt more than anything.

Awww really glad it went ok Coops!! I've had a few extractions. I've also had some failed root canals and after pain of them - extraction is bliss .... LOL.
All over with now at least. You should treat yourself to something nice!! :-)

HI Nic, glad it went well - sounds like you had a good dentist there! Hope the painkillers kick in soon and you feel more comfortable. Don't smoke myself so don't know about missing a cig, but I certainly know if my mouth hurt I wouldn't want to talk - and that would be torture enough for me!!!

Oh bless you, so glad it is over and went ok. I had a tooth out 2 years ago and I remember the after pain. Keep taking the tablets if you need them, they will help. Well done for being so brave xxx
Wow, you're so brave Nic. Last time I had dental treatment I had to be put out, as I'm so nervous. I hope the pain wears off soon with the help of the pain killers. Poor you having to go without a ciggie.

Coops, so pleased it went better than expected. I had surgery in March to remove a root canal infection and I was hoping you didn't have to go through what I did and thankfully you didn't. Your mouth may well swell up so it's a good job you've got some time off. Hope you manage to get some sleep tonight - hopefully you will at the relief it is all over with. Oh coops that sounds horrible! I'm sorry about your teeth. I will be going through the same thing if I ever get brave enough to make the appointment...lol. I have to get 5 teeth pulled, 4 being wisdom teeth! And get a bunch of feelings. I get so nervous, so I always get the gas. But still it's scary. Hope you feel better soon!
