A bit of Sugar Nellie and Stampendous

Good morning all.I hope you are all well. Thanks for all your well wishes for my hubby too.His leg is still painful (it is all of his leg below the knee)and rather than being red it is now going purple and he says he has a fizzing sensation in it but he says it doesn`t feel as tight.Hopefully the antibiotics are working as the doctor didn`t really explain to my hubby what to expect or watch out for?!
So 2 more Christmas cards for you, its the fair tomorrow so i should have enough variety for people now and i always carry peeloffs if people would like a relative sticker on there card.Hate peeloffs but its surprising how many more people will buy your cards if they can have mum/dad etc adding to it.

WOW - those sentiments are fantastic, given me a chuckle this morning. I love them both but the santa wins for me too, love the colours. I'm sure these will sell for you. Glad your Hubbys anti-bs are working, the only thing I would say to watch out for is the infection spreading upwards or for any weeping, but he's hopefully on the mend. Good luck for tomorrow :) x

Morning Nic..

Ooooh gorgeous Christmas cards... both! You should do well at the fair tomorrow...fingers crossed!

I just read your last post too... sounds like your hubby has cellulitis which I've had... it's nasty, but does go with the antibiotics. I was told I had to keep my leg up as much as possible... above my hip level, so if I lay on the settee, I had to have cushions to prop it further up. Hope that helps!

Hugs

Great cards, but Santa is my fave. Love the sentiment and soft colours. Hope hubby is better soon and the craft fayre goes well. I take sentiments too but can't stand peeloffs. I use printed sentiments. I could send you my template if you like, saves reinventing the wheel. Let me know.

Hope your hubby soon recovers. it's dreadful when dr's don't know what it can be... hope they have tested his blood. I knew someone whose husband nearly died because he had a sore and fire red leg and nobody knew what he had. Until they tested his blood and found out that he had an infection that made him nearly die!!!! ooops, I better don't tell this, don't mean to scare you!!! Fingers crossed that he will be well soon!
