I am at work later and i decided to try and kick my smoking habit(a habit i have had for 24 years) on Saturday so if i am a little quiet you will know why.lol.
I really want to quit this time so please keep your fingers crossed that i can do it.
So here is my card for today which i am entering in to the following challenges:

Gorgeous Coops. Stick with it girl - I gave up 10 years ago after 30 year habit - trust me it's worth it - no grey pallor to my skin,got more energy, no smelly hair and clothes and above all - I bought my dream car two years after quitting with the money I saved and have been able to change it every couple of years since - we have at least one luxury holiday every year - none of this we could have done if we'd been burning our money - so hang in there - it's tough but worth it in the end. xxxxx

Beautiful card Coops! This is really fantastic, I love the soft colours and the sweet image and the baby diecut too - so cute :)
All the best with the quitting smoking - I can't offer much advice as I never smoked, but my boyfriend has and quit, invest in some low-calorie nutritious snacks to nibble on when you get a craving, that way you'll have something to do with your hands and if they're healthy you won't feel bad about it :D Think popcorn, berries, grapes, raisins, banana chips, and supposedly peanuts are good for getting rid of cravings :) Good luck!

Fabulous baby card Nic a real stunner, love the word too. I am really rooting for you with your no smoking. I gave up 3 years ago and I know it is not easy but it is so worth it!! I can now smell a smoker at 20 paces lol! You will save loads of money but the main thing is your health - you want to be able to enjoy your son and perhaps some grandchildren at a later date! You CAN do it - I too smoked but for 30+ years and just decided to stop - nearly 5 years ago now. You just take 1 step at a time - either by the hour and then by the day and before you know it you won't remember feeling like a cigarette.

Hiya Nic, I have been an on off smoker for 30 odd years but 2 years ago I decided to pack it in for good. I went through my doctor and used the patches, not everyone gets on with this method some use tablets or go cold turkey. I gave up easily with the patches and I kept very busy for those moments of temptation. Please dont give up, it will take a while to break the habit physically and mentally. You can do it. I chewed lots of gum lol.. Good Luck and you know if you want to email me for a rant feel free ..
