Chronology and Bubble Bloom

Good morning all.I hope you are all well.Hubby let me have a lie in yesterday, bless him he had been on nights too and he also did the ironing so i had nothing to do :D
I had the sweetest handmade card from my boyo and a fab one from hubby too.2 new books to read and some crafty goodies too.I actually brought my own pressies and gave to hubby to give to Jack.My hubby would normally buy the gift but they have changed his pay pattern at work from weekly to fortnightly and this is the 2nd week on 1 weeks pay so things are a bit tight....................but that means i get another pressie when hubby is paid :D
So here are my cards for today, the first is for my stepdad who is 65 today, Happy Birthday Dad :D.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
1.Here come the boys challenge - Challenge 47 - No stamps allowed
2.Cards for men challenge - Challenge 5 - Monochrome
3.Crafty Creations challenge - Challenge 212 - Use some green.
For this fab card shape i have followed a fabulous tutorial by Lyndsey which you can find HERE.
Products used are:
Card blank
Black card
Brad
Docrafts Chronology papers and pre done topper.

My 2nd card is one i have made with my new stamp.
 
Products used are:
Orange and black card
Woodware clear stamp set - JGS290 Bubble Bloom Felicity
Card candi - covent garden
Gems and Pearls
Promarkers
Promarkers used are:
Mustard,burnt orange,mint,plum.
And a sideways view.

Hi ya, firstly apologies for being absent from commenting for so long - hopefully now that I have less DT commitments I'll be by more often.

And secondly, what fabulous cards - these and the ones in the other posts I've been catching up on. Love the altered mirrors as well, sooo sweet!

I would've loved a lie-in yesterday, but SHMbO came charging in at 7am pushing presents at me!! Still not a bad way to wake up, eh!
