Tidy garden,tired bones.

Good evening all.I hope you are all well. The garden is done, we started just before 9am this morning and finshed at 6pm,we went out briefly for compost and plants and we are all tired now but it was worth it.Just a shame about the view i have now but hey oh.
So here are a few pics.
Top half of my garden, new plants in and bark down.

my new little owl solar lights, can`t wait for it to go dark tonight.lol
I GOT THESE OWL SOLAR LIGHTS FROM WORK (B&M BARGAINS- £2.99 EACH)

New plants in my pots and i`ve uncovered my bench now.this patio bit is going to be decked soon and hopefully screened off in some way so we have somewhere a bit more private to sit, you will see further down why.

my new lavender plants.

more owls and more plants and more bark.
THE OWLS ON STICKS WERE ALSO FROM WORK, I THINK THEY WRE £6.99 EACH, THEY ARE CALLED HESTON,OZZY,JARVIS.LOL

and then heres the eyesore, we have not bothered planting anything or barking down the lefthand side or the bottom because of the scaffolding and because we don`t know whats happening with the dividing fence.

and a view right up the garden.what you cant see to my left on the eyesore is a downstairs toilet window that i can virtually touch, fabulous NOT.
All that we need to do now is use some feed and  weedkiller on the lawn but i can`t put it down yet as the one i have brought can`t go on to a fresh cut lawn.

Thanks for looking.
Hugs Nic.xx

Looking good Nic - I would be putting up a bigger fence to block out that house and then some really tall trees and plants. I love your solar owls and those other owls on sticks - I love owls, can I ask where you got them from? Hugs, Claire x

You have been busy. Do you want to come and sort out mine?
Is the planning dept aware of hiw close that window is? I thought there were minimum distances etc to allow privacy.

Hi Nic.....its looking great sweetie! If you've got a Homebase store nr to you its worth popping in and having a mooch around the garden centre dept...if it is anything like my store we have been inundated with bedding plant stock and have had to reduce the price of lots of the spring bedding stuff just to get them sold.

Hi Nic,

Hopefully the view will improve, and you will have a high fence to hid most of it.
Your garden is looking lovely hope the other bit can be done soon
Well done, I have one down here if you need more garden enjoyment you won't find an eye-saw, just a long piece

Hi Nic

Well your hard work has paid off... it looks good! and I love those little owls.. and the big ones too! Maybe the builders will replace the fence? or plant a big hedge?? The least they can do for you letting them put scaffolding in your garden!

Big hugs

Hi Nic, your garden looks beautiful, I love gardening but sadly I don't have a garden. Such a shame about the new build going up, I think a nice high fence and plenty of climbing plants, hugs xx

Shame about the eye sore did they ask you if they could put the scaffold on your property ? and i would be adding a high fence but i do know there is a height limit you may need to follow.
