Happy dance followed by sad face.

Evening all.
I am really cheesed off tonight.
I was really happy that my wall was replaced with a new one so when the fence started to go up earlier i thought great.
Off i went to work and i came home to yes a nice new higher fence, nice and sturdy, walked round on to my garden and saw what the side was like where the fence is.
I could of cried, i really love my garden and have spent a lot of time and money putting in nice plants and conditioning and seeding my lawn after the damage the scaffolding caused.
Below is a before pic and then whats there now :
SEE NICE SLIM BORDERS DOWN THE RIGHT HAND SIDE AND FLOWERS DOWN THE SIDE WHICH WERE IN FULL BLOOM THIS MORNING.
LOOKS OKAY SO FAR.

HANG ON WHATS THAT PILE OF SOIL AND CLAY I CAN SEE?

THIS IS WHAT I SEE NOW, MY GRASS AND PLANTS ARE UNDER THERE SOMEWHERE, YOU CAN SEE ONE TRYING TO ESCAPE.

AND EVEN MORE, IN FRONT OF THE GRASS LIKE PLANT WAS A MASS OF TALL LEAVES WITH YELLOW FLOWERS, YOU AN JUST SEE ONE BENT OVER AND THE OTHER PEEKING OUT THE PILE.
AND UNDER THAT PILE IS MY PALE PINK PEONY.

I am not a happy person tonight.
I am going to have some tea now and then try and sit in my corner and create something to take my mind off the mess outside.
Hugs Nic.xx

Oh, Nic, that is so unfair and most definitely not on. You need to complain, sweetie - they can't do that. The good thing is that you have the photos to prove the damage they've done to your garden. Thinking of you. Hugs, Tracey x

Think I would be complaining and asking for compensation, hope the crafting takes your mind off it x

Oh Dear Nic, I do wish workmen would consider the poor plants,it would appear not one of them is a gardener.
I hope you can save some of them.

Oh dear, Coops, I know just how you feel - I'll swear that most builders do not garden! I do hope your peony will come through again ... when it thinks it is safe to come out from under that pile of soil. And hopefully the plant making a bid for freedom will succeed too. In the meantime, the craft room is a good idea - there's nothing more therapeutic. Hugs, Elizabeth xx

Oh no! That is so inconsiderate and thoughtless. No wonder you are upset. I hope you will be able to find a way to get some sort of compensation for the damage caused to your plants.
Take care, sending you hugs

Awww Coops - how sad that no one cared enough to be careful where your plants are... don't despair hun, flowers and shrubs are actually hardier than we think - you may have lost your peony this year but I will bet it will come back again next... a little gentle raking and removal of the rubble and am sure all will be fine. xx

Oh sweetie, how distressing, after all the time and care you spent on your garden! Can you get the b*****rds who did the damage to repair it? Though of course chasing them is extra hassle that you don't need at this time. Many *hugs*

All the time and effort you have put in your garden. (MAD)how some people's brains work, what were they thinking and doing. They can be in so much trouble for doing that. They making more work for themselves, wall, fence and now looks like they be doing your garden and planting new plants for you..Hugs Lozzy xx

Our neighbours are having an extension done, I have the builders fag butts in our garden, I have the dust all over my washing, How many times I have had to do the rewash I will never know grrrrrr, They havent put the fence back right, My gazebo is covered in their cement, NOT HAPPY, seems consideration is a thing of the past. xxx

Omg I would go ape!!!! People have no idea how long a nice garden takes and how much effort! I feel your pain- my fil decided to paint our back garden wall white (instead of pebble dash) whilst we were on our holiday and instead of moving my plants he managed to cover them in paint so they are all dead :(
Sending mahoosive hugs! Xx

This makes me so mad and sad! They should have to replace each plant they damaged and pay for your time and the work needed to restore it! Ugh! I feel for you so much!
