What a day.

Good morning all.
I hope you are all well.
I am catching up with your blogs slowy inbetween my days out.
We should be going on another canal walk today, from Consall Forge to Cheddleton and back again.
Fingers crossed for dry weather.
We went to Warwick Castle yesterday and had an absolutely fantastic day, we will go back next year for sure.
The horrible histories were some of my laddo`s fav things.
We visited Merlins tower and we also visited the dungeons, oh my did i jump in the very last room with the witch.
Jack was sitting on my knee but closed his eyes, the lights kept going off and then strobe lights, i snuck a peek out of my tightly shut eyes and there was the witch right in mine and jacks face, i jumped out of skin.lol.
So here are just a few of my fav pics of the day, i took over 300 pics but i am sure you don`t want to see all of them.
My laddo taking my head.

Hubby taking my laddos head.

The waxwork of merlin as you exit the tower.

A picture of the mound.

My laddo having a go at archery.

A little assistance needed.

Looking serious.

Holding his rat which all the children were trying to throw through a hole high up on a stick.

A pic of Warwick castle taken from the outside

Me chopping of my laddos head.

And my laddo getting revenge.

He found this one very amusing, luckily its just water in there.

Being knighted for the day after sword training. He was Sir Jack of Stoke On Trent for the day.lol

Pic of the central courtyard taken from the mound.

and finally another pic taken from the mound.
I have lots of other pics of the gaol and the state rooms inside the castle as well as the mill and the re-enactments.
It really was a fantastic day out and i think next year we will probably go for the weekend so we can properly explore all there is to see.
Thanks so much for popping by, fingers crossed i will be back with a card tomorrow, it depends on how late we get back home later :D
Hugs Nic.xx

Oh wow... these are fab photos Coops...I really enjoyed looking at them... it looks like they have even more things to do there now than when I went... it's a big place and definitely somewhere where you would need a few days to see everything... we went on day when there was a Civil War re-enactment... we got some fab photos... like stepping back in time. Hope you get to go again soon.
