Update...

Good morning all.
I hope you are all well.
I have been to the doctors this morning, i applied hot sponges to by breast last night which has reduced the pain a lot.The doctor said that was a good idea :D
It is a lot less sore this morning but its still tender and feeling heavy and i am still getting the sharp pains.
It is the same breast as before so i have been prescribed the same strong antibiotics as before and i have an appointment to go back to see the doctor next week to check again because of family history, i am classed as high risk.My nan had breast cancer and my mum has had 7 lump removals so always best to get them checked out.
I am hoping to be able to get in my craft corner tonight as i am having withdrawal.
Thank you all so much for you kind comments last night, you are all fantastic :D
Lots of one sided hugs again.
Me.

Oh Nic
I'm so sorry I missed your post last night. So glad the Doc could see you today - hope the antibiotics kick in and you are pain free soon.
It must be such a worry - fingers crossed that it is 'just' an infection hun.
Take care and gentle hugs back.

Hi Coops, sorry to read of your problems, hope the antibiotics do the trick. I had a similar problem last year ... sharp pains in the left breast and because of previous history was sent for a mammogram almost immediately ... proved to be an abnormally large duct causing the problem!!! Has anyone suggested you try Evening Primrose oil ... the specialist at the hospital advised me to try it and it has worked a treat. Hope you make a speedy recovery and get back to crafting soon. Hugs, Elizabeth xx

Oh Nic, sounds like you are having a rough time of it right now!

Sorry I didn't leave a message yesterday - I don't always get to the computer to see every post (part of the reason why I'm so behind with commenting).

But I can see today that you've made it to the Docs and treatment started. I hope it's starting to make you feel better and yes lumps / bumps / unexplained are always best checked out. My Nan also had breast cancer but beat it.

Hope you are OK,

Sarah
