Family days together are the best :D

Good morning all.
I hope you are all well.
No card from me today as i spent my day off work with my Hubby yesterday as he was off work too.
We went to get Fathers Day pressies for himself and my stepdad.
I then tackled the large ironing pile and then that was me done for the night, lol.
So instead i have few pics from Sunday when we went to Carsington Waters to share instead.
I hope you don`t mind.
The weather was gorgeous, just towards the end we had a thunderstorm but we managed to stay mainly dry as there was a lot of tree cover.
I still can`t believe we walked all the way around.

My laddo, luckily he loves walking. We have always taken him on long walks since he was small.

Lots of boats were out enjoying the nice weather.

And quite a few ducks and birds too.

One of the hides we went and had a sit in.The very tall young man at the front of the pic is my nephew.

The battlement. My nephew had to lift my laddo up so i could see him.lol

And an outside view.
There is also an amazing log cabin filled with hand carved furniture, a piano, tv, lamp and other stuff.I had put my camera away though then as it was raining.

There were lots of fields of buttercups, this pic really does not show how yellow the field was.

Another view.
There were quite a few benches scattered around so we could sit and eat.The only thing missing were toilets which are only at the start of the walk and then near the end.

Thanks so much for looking.
Hugs Nic.

wow super photos nic ... looks a lovely place to walk ... my dear Mum would have had a fit if you were hiding amongst trees in a thunderstorm lol ... but I am sure you could have used one of the trees for the other problem lol ... happy crafting and love sandy xx
