Little Red Robin..

Good morning all.
I hope you are all well.
The Nutjob animation film was brilliant yesterday, i love kids films. If you do go and watch this film, do sit through the credits at the end as there is a little extra clip after them,We stayed as did one other family, everyone else walked out as the credits rolled so they missed it.
So on to my card for today, i have been naughty and brought a few new Christmas stamps and this is one of them.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
1.Love To Create Challenge - Challenge 130 - Mad about plaid
2.Pennys Paper Crafty Challenge - Challenge 192 - Children/and or Christmas
3.Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Anything goes
4.CRAFT Challenge - Challenge 274 - Animal/pet
5.Creative Romance Challenge - A touch of kraft

Mmmmm this image really lends itself to paper piecing really, i am not sure if colouring him works.
Products used are:
Kraft card
Old papers - docrafts????
Ribbon was recycled from a Christmas present
Gold jingle bells
Pearls
Distress tool
Woodware stamp - Little Red Robin
Polychromo pencils

My little robin has been coloured with polychromo pencils and a white sakura jelly roll pen.

and a sideways view.
Thanks so much for popping by, it means a lot :D
A lazy day planned today as i have lots of extra hours at work now for the next 6-8 weeks :( so apologies in advance if i am a little missing  .
Lotsa Hugs
Nic

I can see that this lovely stamp would have been hard to resist Coops!!! I think it looks great how you've coloured it, but agree it probably would look good paper pieced too. A wonderful Christmas card.

I think your coloring works well! The way you used the pencil strokes rather than blending looks like feathers, yet your colors give depth and shading. The font an bow are a great compliment to the image. Wonderful Christmas card!

Hey Nic, love how you have coloured this little guy so loosely (that takes courage, but it's paid off) - he reminds me of a knitted robin that we have on our tree. Gorgeous. Hugs xx PS. Not seen NutJob yet so thanks for the tip.

Hi Coops

Loving your cute little robin .. .. he would look good paper-pieced but your colouring technique is much more artistic. I think it looks brilliant. I love the whole finished look.

Sounds like you are going to be super busy at work for a while.

Hope you have had a good weekend.

Love Jules xx
