Creative Bloggers Hop

Good morning all, again.
I have been asked by 2 lovely talented bloggers (Bridget @ Curlybearcrafts & Samantha@Penrith Crafts) if i would like to take part in the CREATIVE BLOGGERS HOP which is a continuous bloghop which takes part every Monday.
A host of different bloggers take part and all you/i need to do is answer 4 simple questions.
Thank you so much to Bridget & Samantha for thinking of me :D
Here are the 4 questions and my answers:

Question 1.
What am i working on at the moment.

Answer:
To be honest not a lot, as work and life is taking priority BUT i have treated myself to some new Woodware and Stampendous Christmas stamps which i hope to be able to play with tonight maybe.
I am also working on improving my colouring with different mediums, i am trying different card stocks out too.Its all just a bit of trial and error.

Question 2.
How does my work differ from other in my genre.

Answer:
To be honest i don`t think it does.I suppose some people know me for my distressed edges but i only do that because my matting and layering leaves a lot to be desired. It is always wonky.lol.
I do love to mix up my styles, cas to embellished to vintage so i can`t say i am any different to others at all.

Question 3.
Why do i create what i do.

Answer:
Oh my goodness, this is such a hard question to answer because i really don`t know.I suppose the products i use play a part and i do love getting new products to get the creativity flowing.I also find crafting very relaxing, it helps me shut off.iykwim.

Question 4.
How does you creative process work.

Answer:
I think blog challenges help me a lot in deciding what i am going to create.I find challenges especially sketches help to kick start my thought process.I then decide on the stamp/digi i want to use.Do i want cute, sentiment only, no stamps at all.
Do i want it cas or heavily embellished.I then pick my papers, after which i can decide what colours i want to colour my image.Next come the embellies which i try and match up too.
The heat gun goes on ready and then i always play around with my layers and embellishments to get them where i think they look best and then i assemble my card.
Thats it really.

And there you have it,simples.

Now i am supposed to nominate 3 fellow bloggers to pass the baton on to for next Monday but i have chosen just 2 and that lucky ladies are:

Kelly @ LittleK Smiths Crafty Corner
Now to tell you why i have nominated the lovely Kelly.
I will let you all into a little something you may not know.
It was Kelly who actually gave me the kick to start up a blog in the first place.
I have known Kelly online since we were both members of Docrafts and Kelly left me a comment one day that said `Do you have a blog and if not, why not?`
So thank you Kelly for giving me the push and of course Kelly`s cards are just stunning, i love how she uses such cute stamps and always lots of sparkle.I do have a soft spot too for Kelly`s vintage cards and she also does cas.A very talented diverse crafter and a really nice lady too.
Thank you Kelly for saying yes :D

&
Donna @ My Happy Place
Now to tell you why i have nominated the lovely Donna.
I love Donna`s use of bright colours and she creates some amazing different card shapes.
A fellow promarker user as is Kelly above, which seems to be getting rarer these days.Donna also likes to use other mediums too and i love the variety of images and papers she uses.
I think Donna has a style of her own which is easily recognised.Another talented diverse crafter and a really nice lady too.
Thank you Donna for saying yes :D

Thanks so much for reading and do pop to see Bridget, Samantha, Kelly & Donna. You will not be disappointed.
Lotsa Hugs

Hi Nic, just getting back to this post, saw it, meant to read it later, but then got ill which put a stop to everything, sigh! Thoroughly reading about you and what makes you tick, craftwise, that is :) I'd say you definitely have your very own style which is beautiful - I think your work is always lovely. Thanks for sharing, Elizabeth xx
